Background and Objectives: The present study was conducted with the aim of exploring the role of specialized counseling and personalized curriculum planning on improving the learning process, modifying study habits, and managing academic emotions of 10th-grade students in Biology 1." Methods: "In terms of purpose, this study was applied, and in terms of nature, it was quasi-experimental utilizing a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The statistical population consisted of 10th-grade empirical sciences (experimental sciences) students at 'Al-Rutba' Educational-Counseling Institute, from which a sample of 53 students (31 in the target group equipped with personalized planning and 22 in the general/control group) was selected through convenience sampling. Data collection tools included the smart study habits questionnaire and Pekrun’s Academic Emotions Questionnaire (AEQ). The experimental intervention (personalized planning) was implemented over one academic semester based on two pillars: the 'learning contract' and the 'MCII psychological technique'. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics indicators and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA)."Findings: "Statistical findings indicated that the implementation of the personalized planning model led to an 80% increase in test self-efficacy, a 76% improvement in test scores/ranks in abstract topics (such as plant biology and material circulation), and a significant mitigation of academic anxiety in the target group compared to the control group. Furthermore, the chunking techniques utilized in this model significantly moderated the students' extraneous cognitive load." Conclusion: "Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that personalizing curriculum planning in the 10th grade is a strategic necessity to facilitate students' transition to specialized courses. By aligning educational tools with learning styles (VARK) and increasing the sense of control, this approach mitigates negative emotions and realizes objective educational justice.
