کاروتنوئیدها فراتر از کتاب درسی؛ با رویکرد خواص آنتی‌اکسیدانی در پاندمی COVID-19

چکیده

هدف از انجام این پژوهش بررسی تأثیر کاروتنوئیدها باتوجه‌به اشاره کتاب درسی زیست‌شناسی به خاصیت پاد اکسنده (آنتی‌اکسیدان) و بهبود عملکرد سیستم ایمنی بدن، در شرایط همه‌گیری بیماری COVID-19 است که به‌منظور آشنایی با فیزیولوژی و بیوتکنولوژی گیاهی در زمینه کاربردی می‌باشد. باتوجه‌به اینکه کاروتنوئیدها در کتاب درسی در عنوان رنگ‌ها در گیاهان در فصل‌های گیاهی پایه دهم ارائه شده و معمولاً دانش‌آموزان به علت ماهیت فصل‌های گیاهی، با این مباحث ارتباط کم‌تری نسبت به سایر زمینه‌های زیست‌شناسی برقرار می‌کنند و باتوجه‌ به اینکه دبیر زیست‌شناسی باید در زمینه آموزش فعال و به‌روز، به‌ویژه در برقراری ارتباط میان عناوین درسی با محیط و زندگی روزمره فراگیران تلاش داشته باشد در این پژوهش سعی شده تا ارتباط یکی از عناوین درسی در زمینه گیاهی با یکی از اصلی‌ترین موضوعات روز یعنی همه‌گیری COVID-19 را مورد بررسی قرار دهد. روش پژوهش در این مقاله توصیفی تحلیلی بوده و باتوجه‌ به این موضوع، در این پژوهش ارتباط کاروتنوئیدها با تقویت سیستم ایمنی و نمونه‌هایی از نقش‌های ضدویروسی کاروتنوئیدها با رفرنس‌دهی 40 مقاله به زبان لاتین در محدودة بهار 2022 مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد که کاروتنوئیدها می‌توانند التهاب ناشی از عفونت‌های ویروسی را مورد هدف قرار داده و رژیم‌های غذایی غنی از کاروتنوئید ممکن است از عواملی باشد که از پیشرفت بیماری جلوگیری کنند.
