Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify misconceptions and misconceptions about elementary and high school students about plants. Understanding the structure of plant biology is often poor for elementary and junior high school students, and there are many misconceptions and misconceptions about how plants grow and function. In this research, with a descriptive-analytical approach and using library and documentary sources, the necessary information from related sources was purposefully collected, categorized, analyzed and finally compared. The findings of this study on misconceptions show that many of them are formed in childhood and adolescence and continue at all stages of educational levels. Although students' misconceptions and misunderstandings in the field of life sciences, especially plants, are very high and it will not be possible to prepare a comprehensive list in the short term, but the results of this study can be Use as an educational resource for science and biology teachers and biology students.
